• Founded in 1999, NvisionNewport Beach (formerly TLC Newport Beach) is led by Tom Tooma, M.D., the founder and medical director of Nvision Laser Eye Centers. He has performed more than 100,000 LASIK procedures. Dan Tran, M.D., provides specialty cataract consulting and Intraocular Lens surgeries. He has performed more than 50,000 procedures.\n\nNvision Newport Beach is the flagship location for all of the Nvision Laser Eye Centers and boasts the largest facility with the most laser equipment. Its open-access policy allows outside ophthalmologists to perform surgeries in its surgery center.
